Chadwick Boseman‘s untimely and tragic death continues to affect the entertainment industry.
Shortly after his death, Netflix announced that a virtual preview event for ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ has been delayed.

“We are heartbroken over today’s news of the passing of Chadwick Boseman, a ‘true fighter’ as his family called him in their poignant tribute. This is an incredible loss. We are canceling Monday’s preview event of ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.’ Please join us in sending your thoughts to his family and loved ones.”
The film is based on the acclaimed August Wilson play of the same name and is set in the late 1920s around the Blues pioneer.
The late actor will appear in the film alongside Viola Davis and Colman Domingo.
