Jussie Smollett is not backing down.
The actor maintained his innocence in a new Instagram Live interview author Marc Lamont-Hill.

While speaking with the author, the former star of ‘Empire’ said the past two years have been:
“Beyond frustrating.”
He then went on to say that:
“They won’t let this go, it doesn’t matter. There is an example being made. The sad part is it’s an example being made of someone that didn’t do what they’re being accused of.”
The 38-year-old has been accused by authorities of orchestrating a staged attack on himself in January 2019, something he has denied from the start.
He is currently involved in an ongoing criminal case with the city of Chicago.
