In news just in, it has been confirmed that legendary actor Sean Connery has died aged 90.

The star’s family announced the news in a statement. As at writing, his cause of death has not yet been shared.
Best known for being the first actor to play James Bond on the big screen, Connery took on role in 1962 and starred in seven films from the iconic franchise.
Over the course of his multi-decade career, he also starred in films like ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’ and ‘The Rock.’
Beyond being a box office draw, Connery – who turned 90 in August – was a critics favorite and won an Oscar, two BAFTA awards and three Golden Globes.
