However, the media maven will not be returning to the purple chair just yet.

A statement from producers of the daytime talker revealed that a series of guest hosts and panels have been lined up to fill in for Williams, who is still experiencing “serious complications as a direct result of Graves’ Disease and her thyroid condition.”
Their full remarks read:
The development comes after reports suggested Williams was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after initial claims that she contracted COVID.
Our thoughts are with Williams at this time.

I truly hope that Wendy turns her will over to God and admits she’s powerless over drugs and alcohol. She comes into our homes on TV slurring and being so rude to everyone because her life had become terribly unmanageable. Sadly, the staff and those who are higher up must think of her as their paycheck look the other way.
