After years of teasing, Showtime has finally unveiled a first look at its star-studded anthology drama ‘The First Lady.’
Set to debut later this year, the series will highlight the powerful stories of three of American history’s most celebrated First Ladies: Michelle Obama, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Betty Ford.
Portrayed by Academy & EMMY Award winner Viola Davis, Academy and EMMY Award nominee Michelle Pfeiffer, and EMMY Award winner Gillian Anderson respectively, ‘First Lady’ looks to unveil how each woman helped make some of the most ‘impactful and world-changing decisions’ of her time.

No I don’t like viola Davis as Michelle Obama
Better be either regina hall or Octavia Spencer. They will do the role of a Michelle Obama justice
Bro whoever cast Viola Davis as Michelle Obama needs to be skapped to sleep. Should’ve been Kerry Washington or Regina King.
Slapped*
Kerry Washington or Regina king would have been better choice
Viola looks more like Michelle than the other two. Look at the mannerisms. And you do know it’s not always about the looks right. Who’s to say Kerry and Regina didn’t try out for the part anyway.
Lord. The eyebrows are sending me.
Where is Jacqueline Kennedy? Where is Hillary Clinton? Where is Edith Wilson? Where is Jill Biden? Oh, never mind.
Viola Davis is uncanny, she is beautifully cast.
Bye whitey.
