Adam Sandler and Queen Latifah are no strangers to respectively landing slam dunks at the box office over the last 30 years, but now the two are taking a more literal approach to the concept via the forthcoming basketball drama ‘Hustle.’
Directed by Jeremiah Zagar and executive produced by NBA icon LeBron James, the film follows a basketball scout (Sandler) who is looking for the next unknown talent. His journey takes him to Spain where he meets an incredible streetball player with a troubled past. Together, the two embark on a journey that teaches them both lessons about life, hard knocks, and triumphs.
Ahead of its June premiere in select theaters and June 8 premiere on Netflix, look inside to watch the official trailer.
‘Hustle’ also stars Juancho Hernangómez, Robert Duvall, Kenny Smith, Ben Foster, Heidi Gardner, Anthony Edwards and Tobias Harris.
