A mother’s love serves as the powering force of new movie ‘Till.’
Based on a harrowing true story, the film chronicles the never-before-told story of Mamie Till-Mobley and her quest for justice for her son, Emmett Till – who was brutally murdered.
Directed by Chinonye Chukwu, who penned the movie alongside Michael Reilly and Keith Beauchamp, ‘Till’ stars Danielle Deadwyler in the lead role, as well as Whoopi Goldberg, Jalyn Hall, Frankie Faison, Jayme Lawson, Tosin Cole, Kevin Carroll, Sean Patrick Thomas, John Douglas Thompson, Roger Guenveur Smith, and Haley Bennett.
Ahead of its release in October, watch the first-look trailer below…
Powerful. We’ll be watching.
‘Till’ arrives in theaters on October 14.
The fact that the liar is still alive and not behind bars but Black people who had weed on them are on jail, while white people make bank from dispensaries….
George Zimmerman still breathes…so much for gangs doing “Street justice” but every week a rapper is mugged and killed for his chain smh.
It’s a just us system, not justice so when do we take it into our own hands?
Why not rob Beverly Hills? Why the hair store or DoorDash??
Y’all would never survive in Wakanda. Short sighted and simple. Black people today are SOFT. Protesting accomplishes nothing if it doesn’t inconvenience or change how the 1% live their lives.
All this complaining with no solution 🥲
Outrage over injustice is normal. Its the same way you feel everytime you pass a mirror. Relate where you can.
Tamar aka white troll. Kill yourself.
Shut it fagggots 🤭
Lamar, that would be you and your donor 😁
Everyone knows Emmitt Till was one of the most beautiful boys in the world with the most perfect teeth and the most heavenly eyes that you ever did. I feel bad saying this but, They should have considered that in the casting. Nonetheless, I’m happy his story is finally coming to the big screen.
I’m a bit letdown to see the production quality is more like a Lifetime movie, but maybe the performances will make up for it. You can still see one of Emmett’s caskets at the National Museum of African American History. I was there last week.
