Tyrese and his ex Samantha Lee Gibson were in court hashing out the final details of their child support agreement for their daughter Soraya.
Things took quite a turn when an attorney for Samantha questioned Tyrese about his finances.
Highlighting that the star made over $2 million in 2018 (a year he says was in financial ruin), the 43-year-old quipped: “I don’t do the CFO thing. Here’s a question to you, smart person …”
His verbal trail was stopped in its track because the irate judge cut him off and said: “You don’t ask questions! That’s not how this works!” He was thereafter told that he is running the risk of being held in contempt of court if he kept up with his antics.

Tyrese was later ordered to pay $10,690 a month in child support. It’s also being backdated to when Samantha initially filed for divorce (September 2020). As such, the performer now owes $209,000.
