The death of screen legend Angela Lansbury has brought with it an outpouring of emotion.
As reported, the star – famed for her roles in classics such as ‘Murder She Wrote’ (as Jessica Fletcher) and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ – died aged 96.
According to her family, Lansbury died in her sleep at 1.30 am on October 11 at her Los Angeles home.
A flood of tributes quickly followed news of her passing.
