That Grape Juice was on-hand at the premiere of Netflix’s ‘The Redeem Team’ in New York City.
The powerful documentary film tells the story of the US Olympic Men’s Basketball Team’s journey to the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, in hopes of bringing home gold, following the previous team’s disappointing performance in 2004, in Athens.
Viewers are treated to rare footage of the Olympic game, unseen behind-the-scenes moments, and interviews with the players themselves, including the late Kobe Bryant.
TGJ’s Chet Kincaid was live from the red carpet where he spoke with superstar Dwyane Wade (who executive produced the doc) and sports journalist Jemele Hill.
