George Foreman may stand as one of the most celebrated legends in the history of professional boxing, yet so few know how his story led him from humble beginnings in Marshall, Texas to becoming a two-time world heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist.
That’s set to change with ‘Big George Foreman: The Miraculous Story of the Once and Future Heavyweight Champion of the World,’ a biographical film from director George Tillman, Jr set to explore the life and times of the boxer-turned-entrepreneur-turned-minister.
Starring Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker as Doc Broadus, Foreman’s longtime trainer, and Khris Davis as the sports icon himself, the cast is loaded with familiar faces like John Magaro, Sonja Sohn, Jasmine Mathews, Sullivan Jones, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., and more.
Ahead of the flick’s April 28 arrival to theaters, check out its knockout of a trailer inside.
Shout out to George foreman grill knock out the fat
Was actually looking forward to this biopic. They made a terrible choice casting the actor to play Muhammad Ali tho and the guy playing George looks and sounds nothing like him.
