Suzanne Somers, famed for her starring role in ‘Three’s Company,’ has sadly died.
Full story below…
The star’s rep confirmed that the actress passed away at her home today – just one day short of her 77th birthday.
Somers had been battling breast cancer.
A statement from her team read:
“Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Oct. 15. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years.
Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband, Alan [Hamel], her son, Bruce, and her immediate family.
Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday on October 16th. Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly. A private family burial will take place this week, with a memorial to follow next month.”
Our thoughts are with her loved ones.
She searched the globe for pioneering alternative medicine treatments for various ailments, going as far as breast reconstruction via fat transfer in Japan ; alas, nothing could defy God’s timing. RIP beautiful. ❤
Certainly a talented actress who took a stand against the makers of a successful show, Three’s Company, to inspire other women. The show was never the same without her in my opinion. RIP SS.
