Katt Williams shook the internet with his unbridled interview on Club Shay Shay – during which he sunk his claws into many fellow comics and more.
Indeed, a wide range of names were on the receiving end of disses. From Kevin Hart to Steve Harvey to Cedric The Entertainer to Ludacris.
One person who didn’t see the funny side of the sit-down was Dave Chappelle.
The comedian wasn’t one of the names Williams hit out at. However, it appears the star was not impressed with the digs taken at others.

Chappelle addressed that drama during an appearance at MonDERAYS at the Hollywood Improv on January 19.
The performer is renowned for forbidding camera phones at his shows. Nonetheless, clips of his remarks have spilled onto social media.
He’s quoted as saying the following about Williams’ interview:
“What part of the game is this? He ethered n**gas. He didn’t say anything about any of these white boys. None of these white boys function like that. Katt is one of the best painters in the game. So why are you drawing ugly pictures of us? Stop. Hurt people hurt people, but I am a hurt person that never hurt people, and he does it all the time.”
Impersonating Williams, Chapelle added:
“‘F**k this one, and f**k that one, and f**k this one,’” before adding, “but, n**ga, I didn’t hear anything that you did wrong. He didn’t do nothin’ wrong? Katt didn’t do nothin’ wrong?… Katt was talking about s**t that n**gas did to other n**gas, but not about anything that n**gas did to him.”
Continuing, he said:
“If I told my story, it would break your heart… I lost everything and never, ever told on anybody, and this n**ga’s the arbiter of truth. Katt, listen, I f**k with Katt hard, but… DeRay, tell me, what part of the game f**ks up another n**ga’s paper? What part of the game is about telling on another n**ga?. All of us are trying to be in a better situation.”

Maybe he didn’t speak on white comedians because they’re not the ones with a significant part in his personal experiences. And Dave can’t say with complete certainty that he hasn’t hurt anyone. He just never considers the harm of some of his skits and jokes because he goes by the belief that everything is fair game in comedy.
Katt spoke on the ones who came for her personally. All the people he spoke were the ones who attacked him first, who lied on him. All he did was finally clear his name. Dave can eat a bag of d icks 🍆
