When the cast shake-up on the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ was confirmed, so was the reality that certain names would not return for season 16.
And now it’s been revealed that Sanya Richards-Ross is one of the peach-holders who will not be in the mix.
Full story below…
The news came courtesy of RHOA exec Andy Cohen during the latest episode of his podcast.
Referencing the confirmed exits of Kandi Burruss and Marlo Hampton, the host sandwiched the Olympic champion’s name in the mix of those departing the show. Indeed, he asked his guest:
“How do you feel about, Kandi, Sanya, and Marlo leaving the show?”
Andy casually announced Sanya is leaving #RHOA although it was never officially announced in the press. 💀😭 pic.twitter.com/ERtVoGMHUu

While Richards-Ross – who appeared on two seasons of the show – joins Burruss and Hampton on the list of names not returning, Porsha Williams thrilled fans by confirming that she is back after a two-year hiatus.
Update
Richards-Ross has confirmed her RHOA departure via Entertainment Tonight, saying:
“I’ve been going back and forth and I think because they gave us such a long break, I had a lot of time to do other things and I’ve got some big announcements to make coming soon, so yeah. I mean, I love the girls, they’re my friends, I’m still gonna see them and hang out with them. And Bravo is my family, I love them as well, but you know.”

Never heard of her. Sorry.
