Amanda Seales is renowned for saying her mind.
And she lives up to said billing in a jaw-dropping three-hour interview on Club Shay Shay.
Going viral as we type, the sitdown saw the outspoken multihyphenate wax candid about her opinion of Issa Rae.
As widely known, the mogul served as Seales’ boss and co-star on HBO hit ‘Insecure.’
Now, after long-running rumors of a rift during said tenure, Seales is spilling all.
And it’s less than endorsing.

Speaking with Shannon Sharpe, Seales said of Rae:
“It has always been incredibly important to me to protect Issa. Because I know Issa is doing something within this business that so few people get to do. I’m not interested in getting a $100 million production deal. That’s not a life that I want for myself. I know her role is very important.
And so I’ve always protected Issa. However, there’s been enough instances at this point where I should’ve been protected by Issa and I wasn’t.”
She continued and unpacked an longitudinal problems she’s had with Rae’s publicist, how it led to her not being allowed to a cast gathering at the Black Emmy Party in 2019, and how that led said publicist allegedly starting a “smear campaign.” All of which inevitably caused her to have issues with Rae:
“[Issa] called me and said, ‘Hey, I heard what happened this weekend. I just want you to know I have nothing to do with it’
I said, ‘Listen, I am not saying that it’s going to be a problem on set, but I do think it is a problem that you don’t feel that you need to step in.’ And she was like, ‘Well, then we just have a difference in opinion. This is between y’all.’ ”

At some point you have to see the problem is you, right?
Well if that is what she decides to wear on herself then she’s definitely on the wrong side.
Does Amanda have a mirror?
She’s always come off very stand off-ish.
I am getting tired of this club shay shay platform now. It’s a place now where Successful black people attack each other.
Amanda has a serious victim complex. It’s always someone else’s fault. She avoids accountability.
Well I agree if my publicist stops someone from entering a party and starts a smear campaign…..then me as the boss should step in
Something tells me that Issa and the publicist are taking the high road by not addressing her publicly. Something she did landed her where she is.
Why is she airing this out in public. The behind the scenes drama should stay behind the scenes. I expect better from her.
Rae issa C*UNT.
Get it? I’m so clever.
