Jonathan Majors has escaped jail time following his conviction in the domestic violence case brought against him by ex-lover Grace Jabbari.

After a myriad of delays, the actor’s sentencing took place today (April 8).
And, despite facing years behind bars, the star was sentenced to one-year probation and a mirroring stint in counseling.
As reported, the performer was found guilty of one assault charge and a harassment violation misdemeanor and was acquitted of a different assault charge and aggravated harassment.
Per today’s ruling, Majors is mandated to complete a 52-week, in-person domestic violence programming in Los Angeles, where he presently lives. Later in the tenure, there will be scope for the sessions to be “partly virtual.”
Furthermore, the 34-year-old has been ordered to continue the mental health therapy he has been enrolled in and provide regular updates on his progress.
Additionally, a permanent order of protection has been implemented, barring any contact between Majors and Jabbari.
Any violations of the terms could land the former Marvel actor in jail.
It’s of note that Majors has consistently denied the claims leveled against him and just last month sought to have his conviction overturned. A move that the presiding judge rejected.
It remains to be seen what the fullness of the impact will be on Majors’ once blossoming career.
Marvel dropped him from MCU in the immediate aftermath of his sentencing, however, he’s been adamant about his desire to press on with his career.
