As an Olympic gold medalist, Sanya Richards-Ross is renowned for racing on tracks worldwide. However, she made quite the pivot when she raced onto reality TV as a full-time cast member of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’
Boarding the Bravo show’s season 14, Richards-Ross saw the spotlight shone on her layered life as she integrated with ATL’s most talked about peaches.
Yet, as the age old adage goes, all rides must come to an end. And amidst a major cast shake-up, the sportswoman confirmed her departure from the show.

Speaking with US Weekly, Richards-Ross said of departing ‘Housewives’:
“I honestly think, God knows best, because I don’t think I could have done I everything I’ve done in the last few months while filming the show.
A graceful elaboration followed, with Richards-Ross suggesting that the show’s long-running status and popularity makes it a difficult show to cast for.
