Hot on the promotional trail for ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,’ the actor has seized the moment to reveal that she’s returning to another franchise he popularized.

Speaking with ET, the 63-year-old revealed:
“We started doing Shrek six months ago. So Shrek is coming back. So we’re doing another Shrek and we’re doing a Donkey movie. There’s a Donkey, we have a Donkey movie.”
Murphy added:
“We started doing Shrek six months ago.”
The ‘Shrek’ franchise comprises films released in 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2010 and serves as the second-highest-grossing animated franchise of all time.
Previous spin-offs centered on the character Puss, with ‘Puss in Boots’ (2011) and ‘Puss in Boots: The Last Wish’ (2022).
