Despite the plague of bad press that’s accompanied her last musical era, ‘This Is Me…Now,’ multi-hyphenate diva Jennifer Lopez has reason to dance again.
Amid reports of turbulence in her marriage to Academy Award-winning actor Ben Affleck as well as the fallout following the cancellation of her ill-fated greatest hits tour, Lopez is opting to remain optimistic during the difficult times and encouraging her fans (affectionately called #JLovers) to do the same.
“It may seem like there’s a lot of negativity out in the world right now…but don’t let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there,” J.Lo shared in the most recent edition of the OntheJLO newsletter. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I love you all so much.”
Among the high notes in the actress-singer’s life at the moment is the continued success of her May 24-released Netflix original film ‘Atlas.’
“Hi everybody, I just found out some great news and it’s all because of YOU!!” Lopez included in ‘OntheJLo.’ “ATLAS is #1 worldwide again this week!!! Thank you all so much!!!”
According to the streamer’s official viewership chart, the Brad Peyton-directed sci-fi thriller – shines with Simu Liu, Gregory James, and Sterling K. Brown in its all-star cast – raked in a whopping 31.6 million global views in its second week (helping it retain the #1 spot among all films on the platform).
I like this response a lot. Especially the part about love. Gotta remember that for whenever I get tired of you toxic fūçks
Ya mama puss is toxic
Happy for her. Loved the movie. She did a GREAT job.
She was always a better and more successful actress than music star, that’s where she should remain.
I was JUST about to type the same thing, LOL. Her music moment is most likely gone…
