‘Love Island UK’ reached its climax moments ago – and made history in the process.

For, the winners of the ITV2 series have been unveiled and it marks a first for the long-running series.

Moments ago, host Maya Jama announced that the following fan favorites had won the 11th season of the show – and thus take home the £50,000 grand prize:

Mimii Ngulube & Josh Oyinsan

In doing so, the pair became the first ever Black couple to win ‘Love Island UK.’

This year’s runners-up were Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies.
