Taraji P. Henson has had enough!
Since hosting the BET Awards on Sunday (June 30), the ACADEMY and EMMY Award-nominated actress has been fielding mixed criticism for a snafu during the show that some believed was intentional.
Recently, she took to the Web to share her side of the story. More inside.

During a segment of the ceremony when Henson was handing out roses to celebrities in the audience she mixed up famed social media food critic Keith Lee with his fellow influencer Jordan Howlett.
In the day that followed Lee made headlines for a TikTok video that showed him dropping the rose he eventually received to the floor.
“Our name will be known in every room it’s supposed to be, when it’s supposed to be, how it’s supposed, with no confusion. God is amazing,” he wrote in the now-deleted clip.
As more social media commenters weighed in, he took to TikTok to directly address the criticism for and against Taraji.
“I am not upset at Taraji P. Henson by any stretch of the imagination,” Lee said (as seen in the video above). “And not only that, in my opinion, she smoked it last night [as host of the BET Awards].”
Despite Keith’s clarification of his true feelings about the snafu, Taraji still explained her side in a comment left on Instagram.
“Life really is too short for this behavior. He wasn’t in his seat. They give celebrity assigned seats! I rehearsed all damn day to go hit my mark and that young man wasn’t in his seat so HE MISSED HIS MOMENT,” she said. “His ego is hurt. He will be fine. I cleaned it up at the end of the show. No love lost here.”

Taraji is dead wrong for this rude remark. Keith cleared the air on this and said the SAME THING TARAJI IS SAYING. It was a production issue and he stated that. She is just being a rude bish for no reason.
