Nearly a year after 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) first took to social media to promise a ‘Surviving Diddy‘-style documentary exposing Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs for his alleged history of sex crimes, the rapper-actor-producer has confirmed he’s not only keeping his word but has joined forces with a major streamer to give the project wings.

As Diddy sits in police custody, his legal woes – courtesy of even more lawsuits from women alleging abuse – continue to mount. Those accusations only add to the trouble he’s already facing from charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, engagement in prostitution, and more.
Soon, his personal woes will be amplified as well as he will be the subject of a damning Netflix docuseries.
Executive produced by Jackson, the project is said to already be in production with critically acclaimed director Alexandria Stapleton tapped to helm.
“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” 50 Cent and Stapleton said in a statement. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”
50 Cent will executive produce the venture through his G-Unit Film & Television banner.
At the time of this report no tentative release date is attached to the docuseries.
