Having rolled past a slew of talented hopefuls to be crowned 2007’s ‘American Idol‘ winner and eventually gliding to the top of music charts as a result, Jordin Sparks knows a thing or two about reality show competitions.

Now, she’s putting that qualified resume to use as hostess of the forthcoming Max original series ‘Roller Jam.’

Branded the ‘first-of-its-kind’ TV event, the six-episode jaunt – produced by interior design icons Chip and Joanna Gaines – will see some of America’s greatest skate crews bring their best moves to the rink for a chance to win a whopping $150,000.

If that’s not enough to get skaters lacing up their rollers, the winners will also see a rink of their choice given a $10,000 donation.

Joined by judges Johnny Weir (Olympic figure skater) and Terrell Ferguson (roller skating legend), the series will also boast big-named guest judges like Rap pioneer Pepa (of Salt-N-Pepa), Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams, 80’s Pop diva Debbie Gibson, and more.
