Led by Aaron Pierre in the titular role and co-starring Kevin Harrison Jr., Beyonce, and Blue Ivy, the Disney live-action blockbuster launched a colossal 122.2 million at the global box office during its opening weekend.
And with the holidays underway (a conventionally strong window for theater-going in key markets such as the US), the gross is expected to grow.
