Just hours after The Weeknd announced his new album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow‘ will not be arriving on its schedule January due date, music megastar Beyonce has followed suit with reports her mysterious new venture, originally due to be unveiled on January 14, has been pushed back.
“The January 14 announcement will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires around areas of Los Angeles,” she told her 313 million followers on Instagram at midnight. “I continue to pray for healing and rebuilding for the families suffering from trauma and loss.”
The news comes not long after the iconic GRAMMY winner’s BeyGood foundation made headlines for donating a whopping $2.5 million to wildfire relief efforts.
Teased after the diva rocked viewership numbers for NFL’s inaugural Christmas Day game on Netflix, Bey’s beloved fans – affectionately called the #Beyhive – immediately began speculating the announcement would be the third act of her ‘Renaissance‘ album trilogy or even a ‘Cowboy Carter‘-inspired tour.
