Cynthia Erivo is about to add another well-deserved honor to her resume
Details below…
GLAAD (the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) has announced that the award-winning actress, singer, and LGBTQ+ advocate will receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the 36th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on March 27.
The prestigious honor recognizes LGBTQ+ media professionals who have made a lasting impact in increasing visibility and promoting acceptance. Previous recipients of the award have been icons like Niecy Nash-Betts, Laverne Cox, and Ellen DeGeneres and now the ‘Wicked’ star will be next.
Erivo – who identifies as queer – has been a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, using her platform to push for greater representation.
With this honor, she continues to solidify her status as a force both on and off the screen. We love to see it!
