The 20-plus-year wait for the sequel to Disney’s 2003 classic ‘Freaky Friday‘ is finally charging to theaters this Summer.
Titled ‘Freakier Friday,’ the long-awaited follow-up to ‘Freaky’ sees its award-winning leads Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprise their roles in the beloved film.
“In the film, Anna (Lohan) now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess (Curtis) and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice,” reads the official synopsis.
Slated for premiered on August 8, the twosome will be joined by returning cast members Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Rosalind Chao, Lucille Soong, and Stephen Tobolowsky.
