Keri Hilson is back and firing on all cylinders.
This month brought with it ‘We Need To Talk: Love’ – the first of three chapters of her first album in 15 years.
The singer-songtress is also flexing her acting chops in the eagerly awaited Lifetime movie, ‘Fame: A Temptations Story.’
Hilson leads in the film alongside Keshia Chanté, with the pair taking on the role of sisters.
Together, they are the most scorching singing duo on the music scene. However, drama surfaces when they begin to question each other’s true intentions. A frightening robbery flips their world off its axis, and they are tasked with setting aside their rivalry and appetite for fame for the greater good.
That Grape Juice’s Chet Kincaid sat down with Hilson, who dished on the movie, her return to the music business, romance, the possibility of a Timbaland reunion, her love for the Bahamas, and more.
‘Fame: A Temptations Story ‘premieres April 26 at 8/7c.

It’s nice to see her being interviewed by a fan. Chet mentioned ‘after love,’ which is one of her gems. And as a fan, I too wanted to know if she would be working with Timbaland again. Thanks for asking the questions you did.

I love Keri Hilson. I’m glad that she entered the acting world. She has great potential. I love her song Pretty Girl Rock. Her last two albums are iconic and solid.
