Magnolia Pictures has unwrapped the first trailer for the film, and it powerfully captures the central story of grit, grief, and generational survival.

Set in a near-future world gutted by plague and famine, Deadwyler plays Hailey Freeman, a hardened ex-soldier protecting her family’s ancestral land in a collapsed society. But when her son crosses boundaries—literally and emotionally—Hailey’s world starts to unravel.

The wider cast includes Michael Greyeyes, Kataem O’Connor, and Milcania Diaz-Rojas.’

This genre-bending thriller is already one of the most buzzed-about releases of the summer.
