Blumhouse has confirmed that a sequel to the 2019 viral horror-thriller is officially in the works, with Oscar winner Octavia Spencer returning to raise hell once again as the dangerously unhinged Sue Ann a.k.a Ma.

While the sequel’s director and release date are still under wraps, Jason Blum teased fans with a cheeky nod saying:
“Ma likes to say ‘don’t make a me drink alone,’ so we’re thrilled Octavia will join us again for a second round.”
The original became a surprise box office success and meme gold, turning Spencer’s twisted party hosting into an internet legend. From meme contests to political shoutouts, ‘Ma’ never really left pop culture’s party – and now, she’s making a bloody comeback.

I love how she wannabe a White man’s ho in the movie. I remember the scene they setting her up with another White boy in the classroom and having some BJ fun. She thought she was sucking her crush. lol
