Anthony Mackie‘s ‘Twisted Metal’ is back for season 2, and Peacock has dropped the official trailer.
And the show’s sophomore run promises more action, chaos, and mayhem.

This season picks up where it left off, after John Doe (Mackie) has finished being a deliveryman. But, Raven (Patty Guggenheim) ropes him into a driving tournament run by the mysterious Calypso (Anthony Carrigan). Who offers something more important than money: a wish. The kicker is to survive the tournament and get your heart’s desire.
Returning cast includes Stephanie Beatriz, Tiana Okoye, Michael James Shaw, Saylor Bell Curda, Richard de Klerk, Lisa Gilroy, and more wild cards.
Showrunner Michael Jonathan Smith expressed that the masses are in for a wild ride this season. He says:
“The stakes couldn’t be higher as John and Quiet risk everything for a single wish. Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz lead a stellar cast in a fast-paced, hysterical, thrilling season with unforgettable characters. It’s too bad not all of them will survive”
‘Twisted Metal’ season 2 premieres July 31 on Peacock with the first 3 episodes, followed by new episodes every Thursday through August 28.
