Unveiled today (Monday, September 22), the collaboration promises high-performance gear with style-forward designs, Kardashian explained:
“Our mission is simple: to redefine the rules of women’s activewear. No more compromises. We’re combining high-performance innovation with sexy, style-forward design for all women who demand both.”
The move comes just months after Richardson’s July arrest at Seattle’s airport over a domestic dispute with boyfriend Christian Coleman, which she has since apologized for.
Despite the controversy, Nike kept Richardson’s images on its site and now doubles down with Skims, sparking buzz over whether the campaign was secured pre-scandal or is a show of confidence in her star power.
Either way, Richardson’s marketability remains as fast as her sprint times.
