The superstar and his production company, Westbrook Studios, which he co-runs with wife Jada Pinkett Smith, have officially signed a first-look deal with Paramount Pictures.
Per the pact, Smith will focus on developing four-quadrant theatrical films with a heavy emphasis on franchise plays and IP-driven projects. In other words, Smith is setting himself up to stay right in the middle of Hollywood’s biggest conversations.
This deal marks a new chapter for the actor after years of building Westbrook into a creative powerhouse across film, TV, and digital projects. Now, with Paramount’s backing, fans can expect to see the Bad Boys star anchoring more blockbuster-level projects — both on screen and behind the scenes.
