Angel Reese is trading in her Angel Reese 1s for heels. For, it has been announced that she will be gracing the Victoria’s Secret runway at their fashion show.

Reese will be the first professional athlete model to walk the iconic show. She attended the spectacle last year and practically manifested this moment.
Speaking on her enlistment, she shared:
“I literally could not stop smiling! It’s such a surreal and full-circle moment — just last year I was in the audience manifesting being on that runway, completely inspired and in awe of all the powerful women walking down the runway, and now I get to return as an Angel. This will be an unforgettable night that I’ll forever be grateful for.”

The WNBA star is very excited and proud of being the first pro athlete to be a part of this show, and hopes to inspire other women with this milestone. She continued:
“I hope I can inspire women and girls everywhere and remind them that we can dominate in our field but also chase our goals outside of it — and for me, that’s getting to walk down fashion and entertainment’s most iconic runway.”
The Chicago Sky player is looking to channel her signature tunnel walk for her runway walk, adding that strutting alongside Missy Elliott will make her feel more empowered.
Elliott is one of this year’s headliners along with Madison Beer, KAROL G, and TWICE. This serves as another all-female lineup following last year‘s offering with Tyla, LISA, and Cher.

Victoria’s Secret has also confirmed Adriana Lima, Alex Consani, Anok Yai, Joan Smalls, Lily Aldridge, and Yumi Nu for the model lineup.
