What was supposed to be a celebratory night for fan-favorite streamers quickly shifted into an awkward exchange between host FanFan and Twitch superstar Kai Cenat.
Cenat enjoyed a major sweep at the Streamer Awards on taking home trophies for Best Collab, Best Marathon, Best Streamed Event, and Best Just Chatting Streamer.
But things took a sharp turn when FanFan cracked a joke comparing him to Diddy, a comparison to Netflix’s new 50 Cent-produced docuseries ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning’.
The host jokingly asked Kai:
“Oh, and also, congrats on your new documentary with 50 Cent. That was you, right?”

The room fell silent.
Social media wasn’t laughing either.
While Kai’s own fanbase often jokes about his resemblance to the mogul, many viewers felt the jab was poorly timed and tone-deaf, especially considering the serious allegations in the docuseries.
Oh my gosh, LIGHTEN UP Gen Z kids! This was clearly based on his own fan base making this joke about him since he rose to fame.
Now they want to act like they never joked about it before the documentary aired??
I’m not buying it!
