After thrilling viewers with its October 22 kick off, Hallmark continues to make the season bright with its #CountdowntoChristmas campaign –  a loaded yuletide affair that will see them roll out 41 original holiday films leading up to Christmas.

The next flick to get the premiere treatment is the Jordin Sparks-led and executive produced ‘A Christmas Treasure.’ Directed by Michael Robison, ‘Treasure’ – which sees Michael Xavier play opposite the ‘American Idol’ alum – tells the tale of a writer who mulls over a big move to the Big Apple to further her career after opening a 100-year-old time capsule and finding her grandfather’s old journal.  The move would mean she would have to abandon her family’s local newspaper.
