Hours ago saw Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump come face to face for a 90-minute Presidential debate they each hope will see them come out on top when voting begins on November 8th 2016.

NBC’s Lester Holt was the night’s moderator once things kicked off at New York’s Hofstra University.

There, they discussed race relations, job creation, police brutality and the war on terror.

Hillary Clinton’s political campaign has found a friend in Alicia Machado, a woman who claims her life was ruined by Donald J. Trump.

Now 39, Machado won Trump’s Miss Universe competition in 1996 when she was aged 19.

Little did she know that her win was to turn her universe upside down.

For, shortly after she claimed the crown the intense schedule her win came packaged with saw her gain weight much to the horror of Mr. Trump who allegedly ruined her life with racially-charged bullying.

Last night, Clinton threw her support behind her political rival’s alleged victim during the first 2016 Presidential Debate.

Vivica Fox has weighed in on 50 Cent’s ongoing feud with the cast of the hit series ‘Empire.‘

Fuelled by the ratings rivalry the show is engaged in with 50’s critically acclaimed series ‘Power‘, his war of words with the cast reached new lows (or highs) when mocked ‘Empire’s viewing figures during a spat with its leading lady Taraji P. Henson.

Of course, the aforementioned Fox (who once dated the rapper) wasn’t pleased about 50’s undying attacks on the series in which she now stars.

As their time in the White House comes to an end, President Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama continue to sprinkle greatness onto their legacy with the opening of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture.

Standing as the 19th Smithsonian museum, the museum seeks to reintroduce the world to the African-American story and shed light on aspects of it that are often omitted from the education system.

Joining the couple to celebrate its opening was George W. Bush, Will Smith and Oprah Winfrey.

The Viola Davis-led murder mystery series ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ was at one time ABC’s highest rated series.  Premiering to a whopping 14 million in late 2014, the critically acclaimed show garnered much buzz among industry insiders and television viewers alike for its suspenseful and ever-twisting storyline.  But, just as its home network tightened its grip on dominating Thursday nights, it appears the series was losing grip on its once-thought-to-be strong viewer base.

And, while season 2 premiered to a commendable 8.4 million, its finale sang a much different tune.  Drawing in 5.29 million, the noticeable dip in ratings made some fans worry ABC was ready to kill ‘Murder’ from its Thursday night lineup.

If they were worried then, season 3’s premiere – which aired last night (September 22) – will do little to ease those fears:

The brutal slaying of the disabled African-American man Terrence Crutcher  continues to spark conversation about the United States’ treatment of people of colour.

Today, his twin sister joined ABC’s ‘The View‘ to discuss her brother’s death and the charges his murderer (police officer Betty Shelby) is facing.

Unfortunately, said conversation threatened to hit a sour note when hosts Sunny Hostin and Paula Faris clashed over a questioned the latter posed.
