‘BraveHeart’ hitmaker Ashanti is braving the acting front as news has surfaced the songstress is set to join Lifetime Network‘s hit series ‘Army Wives’ as a regular cast member.

Set to play a mom of 3, the songstress – whose previous acting credits include ‘Coach Carter’ and ‘John Tucker Must Die’ – will see her debut aboard the show via its 7th season. No word on when the show’s 7th season will begin.

Feast your eyes on this snap of ‘The Game‘s cast, on the set of its hotly anticipated 100th episode.

Joined by recurring cast member Brandy Norwood, the gifted crew posed in celebration of the feat behind a cake in its honor, weeks before their season six debut date is to be announced.

However, just in case fans needed a fresh incentive to tune in, the series has welcomed Jay Ellis to the cast- reported to play a pivotal role in the forthcoming season.

VH1 is definitely keeping the Urban reality show on lock and, as recently revealed, rapper The Game is the next in line to get the reality treatment.  Indeed, the ‘How We Do’ hitmaker will have cameras follow him and family as he prepares for a wedding to his longtime girlfriend on the show ‘Marrying The Game’.

Indeed, the present-day Queen of dancefloors Ciara got a royal treat when she debuted her latest single ‘Got Me Good’ to her grandmother Gladys.  Needless to say, the result a glimpse at where Miss Cici gets her moves from.

American Idol is set to roar back onto the small screen on January 6th with three new judges – Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Country star Keith Urban.

The trio join Idol staples Randy Jackson (last remaining original judge) and host Ryan Seacrest.

Chris Tucker took his brand of funny to The Jimmy Fallon Show‘ last night in fresh support of his new flick, ‘Silver Linings‘.

Due out in theaters November 21st, the movie received a comedic promo boost when the comedian hit the show to dish on his latest tour and the flick itself, which also stars Robert De Niro.
