Introducing a new branch of the Duncan family tree, Carl Weber‘s ‘Family Business: New Orleans’ sees its megawatt cast lined with names like Brandon T. Jackson, Lela Rochon, Yvette Nicole Brown, Pooch Hall, David Banner, Quincy Brown, Orlando Jones, BernNadette Stanis, and more.
“The Duncan family’s underground New Orleans casino finds itself in a war after a rival boss’s brother dies there. Fearing, owner Big Shirley sends her son away, but he travels to NY to seek help from the Duncan crime syndicate instead,” reads the official logline.
Set for a double-episode premiere on the streamer on January 23, one episode will drop weekly up until its suspenseful finale on March 6.

The nominations for Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025 have been announced and bring with them nods for ‘Wicked’ and its stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
The film landed five nods alongside ‘Shogun.’
The 31st annual SAG Awards will stream live globally on Netflix on Sunday, February 23, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall. Kristen Bell has been tapped to host.
