Beyonce may be on a break of sorts, but 2019 still managed to be an action-packed year for music’s reigning Queen.

And, as she closed out that chapter, she made sure to celebrate the long list of moments that made it so memorable.

In a fun-filled video recap, Bey highlighted key scenes from her professional endeavours (such as ‘Homecoming’ and ‘The Lion King’), as well as previously unseen shots of her family. When Rihanna debuted in 2005, she joined Chris Brown, Teairra Mari and Ciara at the front of a teenage class developed to dominate the decade as Destiny’s Child, Usher, Aaliyah and Britney Spears had done before them.

Since then, she has risen to become one of Pop culture’s brightest figures….soaring to epic heights on the wings of genre-blending albums, breathtaking visuals and game changing brand partnerships.

Only right then, after almost two decades at the top, that the performer should take a well-deserved break.
