Despite multiple teasers and weeks of delay, musical mastermind Kanye West has finally lifted the lid on his highly anticipated ninth studio album, ‘Jesus Is King.’

The follow-up to last summer’s ‘Ye,’ the 11-track effort has no shortage of star power as it calls on the like of Ty Dolla $ign, Fred Hammond, Clipse, Kenny G, and more.

K. Michelle is wasting no time kicking off the push for new single ‘The Rain.’

Because, a mere matter of hours after debuting the track, the R&B songbird has hatched the cut’s accompanying video.

The release (which samples New Edition‘s ‘Can You Stand The Rain’) is lifted from the star’s forthcoming album ‘All Monsters Are Human,’ which also spawned the City Girls assisted ‘Supahood.’ All are being supported by K’s US ‘Over Some D*ck Tour.’

It’s once again time to hop aboard the Soul Train!

BET presents the 2019 Soul Train Awards next month, so what better way to incite excitement than to reveal the official list of nominations?!

An eclectic array of names lead the ballot this year, with Chris Brown nabbing 8 noms, Drake following with 7, and Beyonce and breakout star Lizzo repping for the ladies with six each.

Set to take place November 29, the show – which is hosted by Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell for the third time- will simulcast

As at writing, Kanye West‘s new album ‘Jesus Is King’ has yet to be released on schedule – with the rapper citing final tweaks.

That hasn’t halted his promotional push for the Gospel flavored set, though; for Ye sat down with Big Boy to discuss the project and much more.

Ahead of the full release of the interview, station Real 92.3 radio has released previews which feature West waxing honest on a number of topics.

And true to form, they look set to get tongues wagging.

Tank is hot on the press trail in support of newly released album ‘Elevation’ and he’s seizing the moment the address the comments heard around the world.

As reported, the R&B crooner expressed his belief that guy-on-guy oral doesn’t automatically define one as gay and instead (under certain circumstances) could simply function as experimentation.

His words, made during a discussion on Angela Yee’s ‘Lip Service,’ ignited ample debate – and attracted fierce contention from some corners of the web.

Never one to shy away from defending himself, the singer appeared on The Breakfast Club today and spoke more on the matter.

In some corners playful, in others more serious, he skilfully managed to unpack the fullness of his point – which included his belief that there is a gender “double standard” as relates to sexual experimentation.

Choreographing some famous dance sequences in top films ‘Jerry Maguire,’ Tom Hanks’ 1988 classic ‘Big,’ and more, one of her most impressive achievements to date is often mistakenly attributed to other choreographers: the dance scenes of Eddie Murphy‘s ‘Coming To America.’

Just two weeks after dropping the deeply introspective and personal cut, ‘Joanna,’ the Grammy-nominated songstress has unveiled the CHIKA-assisted ‘Sabotage.’  A Neo-soul tinged number housing lyrics that reflect on a love gone wrong, Jo coos over the song’s infectious chorus:

‘Every time I think about me and you, I wonder did I play myself…and sabotage love.’
