Formally on hand to discuss his role on the WeTV reality series ‘Growing Up Hip Hop: New York,’ the ‘Always on Time’ hitmaker took a little time to shade longtime rival 50 Cent to remind viewers their nearly 2-decade long feud is still alive and well.

As if that wasn’t enough, Rule also weighed in on those pesky rumors his longtime collaborator Ashanti was the real vocalist behind his #1 hit with Jennifer Lopez, 2001’s ‘I’m Real.’

Tyler Perry broke new ground this weekend with the opening of his own studios.

Aptly named Tyler Perry Studios, the Atlanta based space is the first operation of its kind to be fully Black owned.

The launch ceremony was attended by a who’s who of Black Hollywood – with one of the most notable guests being Beyonce. 

Clearly moved by Perry’s monumental venture, Queen Bey took to social media to share an impassioned congratulatory message.

Camila Cabello is hot on the promo trail in support of her duo of singles, ‘Liar’ and ‘Shameless,’ as the yet-revealed release date of her sophomore album, ‘Romance,’ nears.

Before blazing the stages of the iHeartRadio Music festival (as seen here) or BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge (as seen here), a private audience (Verizon Up Members) was treated to live performances of those cuts and more at Florida’s The Fillmore Miami Beach on September 25. 

Donning a white bandage catsuit with matching heels, the intimate gathering saw Cabello rock a house of 2,500 lucky fans with some of her biggest hits including “Senorita”, “Havana,” “Shameless,” and “Liar.”

All eyes were on the Queen Bee Lil Kim at tonight’s 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards (October 5).

As previously announced, the network’s annual ode to the year’s best and brightest in Rap music selected the trailblazing femcee to be the recipient of the night’s top honor – the ‘I Am Hip Hop’ award (in recognition of her lifetime achievements).

In addition to blazing the red carpet (as seen in the stunning look above), Kim also hit the stage and helped fill out a performance roster that included the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Chance The Rapper, Rick RossOffset and Lil JonDaBaby, T-Pain, Rapsody, YBN Cordae Ft. Anderson .Paak., Saweetie, and more.

Said fans will know that the highly gifted singer/writer/drummer rose to fame alongside her good friend Prince and offered the world her unique perspective by way of song for much of the 80s.

Now, she is using the lessons she has learned to inspire the next generation of musicians and create what may be her best work to date.

‘Bodak Yellow’ beauty Cardi B is seeing her name colored across headlines for a fiery rant she uploaded to social media as a clap back to what she brands as the media using her “name as click bait.”

Hot on the promo trail in support of her role as a judge Netflix‘s new Hip-Hop talent-show ‘Rhythm + Flow,’ the Rap diva sat down with our friends at Access Hollywood to discuss the venture, balancing motherhood with superstardom, and so much more.  However, once the outlet ran the story it appears her statement about being a mom to baby Kulture was taken out of context. So much so, it not only sent Cardi into a ferocious tirade on Instagram live, but made her swear off social media and interviews all together.
