Beyonce has spoken up and out against the shocking police brutality in Nigeria.

As widely reported, there has been both national and international outrage at the government’s controversial police division, which has been deemed corrupt and criminal in and of itself.

Protests have been plentiful, with the masses mobilizing worldwide to demand change.

However, the situation escalated in earnest today in Lekki, when innocent protesters were shot and killed.

With the world in collective shock, Beyonce joined Naija stars such as WizKid and Davido in using her platform to demand urgent change; change she has been working on prior to now behind the scenes and at direct level.

A day before releasing his long-awaited EP, ‘Closer to Mars,’ right here on Earth, Mario unleashed the music video to its housed tune, ‘Pretty Mouth Magick,’ to praise the out-of-this-world bedroom prowess of his lady lovers.

Using a self-directed accompanying music video to further drive home the concept of the song, in the visual the 34-year-old is surrounded by some talented (and flexible) ladies as he coos the tune’s provocative lyrics.

“I know your wonderin’, what all the talk is / You heard what she said, but I really do it / Swallow the whole thing, make it a challenge / Invite your girl friend, make me a sandwich,” wails the GRAMMY-nominated crooner.

Much to the delight of her growing legion of fans, Doja Cat pulled double duty on late TV Monday night (October 19).

In addition to rocking ‘The Tonight Show’ alongside Bebe Rexha (as we reported here), the 25-year-old was spotted turning up with Ozuna to perform their joint hit, ‘Del Mar,’ on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

While Sia (who is featured on the song’s recorded version) was not on-hand for the performance, Doja and Ozuna certainly made do without her via their live adaptation of the tune’s aquatic music video.

A play on the crooner’s lengthy discography of acting as assistant on some of Hip Hop & R&B’s most memorable bangers from the last few years, the 38-year-old is reversing the role for his new LP (due October 23 via Atlantic Records).

A 25-track effort, the set features big names like Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Future, Jhené Aiko, Post Malone, Big Sean, Kehlani, and many more.

Ella Mai is wasting no time lighting a match under new single ‘Not Another Love Song.’

Rolled out as the GRAMMY winner’s first single in two years, its accompanying video premiered moments ago.

Directed by Lesean Harris, the visual sees the London bred songbird serenaded by her bae, while upping the ante with slick choreography.

Speaking on the release, Mai recently shared that it’s “about falling in love but not wanting to admit it, so it’s quite vulnerable but still has an edge to it.”

Teyana Taylor may be cradling a new baby, but she’s keeping the pedal to the metal when it comes to her LP, ‘The Album.’

For, she has unleashed the video for its latest single ‘Lose Each Other’ and it stars none other than Sir Elton John. 

From sound to generation, the pairing no doubt is unique. And one that Taylor couldn’t be any more ecstatic about.

Speaking on the visual, which she self-direced, she said:

“’Lose Each Other’ is such a special record for me, and I wanted the visual to feel just as big. I told my team ‘you know what would be dope? If I could have Elton John open the video on the piano!!

Not that I thought it could really happen, but just putting it out there in the universe lol. So as we were working through treatment ideas and solidifying logistics for the video, an international phone number calls me…. and for a second I almost didn’t answer, but my intuition spoke, I answered. All I hear is…’Hello darling, it’s Elton. I’d LOVE to do your video!’ I FREAKED OUT!”

Fresh off the release of their collaborative single, ‘Baby I’m Jealous ‘ Bebe Rexha and Doja Cat stopped by ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ to perform the track.

Both Rexha and Doja Cat were both dressed in neon outfits set against a rainforest background.

The pair sizzled as they both sang the chorus:

“Baby, I’m jealous / Of the pictures that you like / Baby, I’m jealous / Of the girls with lighter eyes / Baby, I’m jealous / And I know that it ain’t right  / But I’m jealous, jealous / The jealous kind.”
