4Batz had already hit a homerun with his viral single, ‘Act II: Date @ 8,’ when the Untitled Beatz-produced cut rose to the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart.

The bid to hoist it to the Hot 100 got its most promising push yet when the Dallas-reared singer (born Neko Bennett) tapped chart-topping hitmaker Drake to assist on the tune’s remix.

“I swear he’s gassing me up / There’s no way in hell I see you passing me up / Almost said I loved yo’ a** right after we f*cked / Don’t know why, girl, it was on the tip of my tongue,” Drizzy spits on the revamped single.

Music lovers who haven’t purchased tickets to Ledisi‘s North American ‘Good Life Tour‘ (which kicked off earlier this month) found out exactly what they’re missing when the dynamite diva took to Tuesday’s episode of the ‘Tamron Hall Show’ (March 12) to showcase a live rendition of one of her latest singles ‘Sell Me No Dreams.‘

Found aboard her March 1-released album ‘Good Life,’ the hard-hitting tune served notice to potential suitors about how she doesn’t have time for love games.

“If you gon’ love me, then love me / If you gon’ leave me, then leave me / Don’t leave me hanging / Don’t sell me no dreams,” she wailed to an approving live audience.

Madonna capped off a five-night run at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles by bringing out none other than Cardi B.

The ‘Enough (Miami)’ rapper joined the Queen of Pop for the ‘Vogue’ performance segment – which sees Madge and her guest for the evening score the talent rocking the runway.

Cardi’s appearance adds to what has been a stacked list of superstar cameos on the mammoth world tour; indeed one of the most recent was a surprise showing from Kylie Minogue.

Justin Timberlake is just a few days away from the release of his new album ‘Everything I Thought It Was’ and he’s continuing to dance his way across the promotional trail.

JT’s latest stop was Jimmy Kimmel Live, where – together with his full band – he rocked out to his incoming single ‘No Angels.’

The funky cut, which has interestingly received its televised premiere ahead of its formal release on March 15, is co-produced by Calvin Harris. It picks up the tempo from lead single ‘Selfish’ and follow-up buzz track ‘Drown.’

After first introducing music lovers to ‘Sell Me No Dreams’ in November 2023, Ledisi capitalized on the ongoing warm reception of the tune by preceding the March 1 release of its critically acclaimed parent album, ‘Good Life,’ with a sizzling music video for it.

“If you gon’ love me, then love (Love me) / If you gon’ leave me, then leave (Leave me) / Don’t leave me hanging / Don’t sell me no dreams,” she croons in the Ron T. Young-directed clip which also stars veteran actor/’Family Matters‘ star Darius McCrary.

Helping to push the Shoji-produced cut into the top 20 of Billboard’s R&B chart, the GRAMMY winner is undoubtedly well on her way to even higher heights on the tally thanks to the song’s glossy visual.
