Looks like ‘Karma’ singer Alicia Keys’ anti-makeup campaign has finally come full circle, if her February spread in ‘Allure’ magazine is anything to judge by.

In what (reportedly) comes as her first editorial wearing makeup since Spring 2016, the songstress took to the fashion mag to dish on everything from president elect Donald Trump to women’s rights, activism, and even played a fun game of “would you rather?” (featuring names such as Beyonce, Solange, Tupac, and more).

“They were calling me coon, calling me house n***er, calling me Aunt Jemima, calling me all kinds of names and asking me to kill myself…and that was from the black community.”

The stinging quote above was delivered by Jennifer Holliday as she recounted the vicious backlash she received for agreeing to perform at president elect Donald Trump‘s inauguration special.  Interestingly, Holliday says it wasn’t the negative response from the Black community that acted as the true catalyst for her to reverse her decision to perform at Trump’s “Make America Great Again! Welcome Celebration” concert on January 19 at the Lincoln Memorial. Instead, it was the kick back from the LGBT community:

“All the tweets that I read from the African American community were directed directly at me. The tweets from the gay community took the issues and did not call me names. Also they have been a faithful community since Dreamgirls to me, and fed me even when the church people didn’t feed me.”

Hard to believe we are less than 3 weeks away from the highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show, starring pop superstar Lady Gaga.  The diva – still enjoying the critical success of her latest effort ‘Joanne’ – is reportedly hard at work rehearsing for the spectacle many expect to be one of the biggest the platform has ever seen.

But, with a surprising lack of buzz for the forthcoming showing (compared to the hype preceding the event in years past), Gaga took to Twitter to “confirm” speculation that a huge announcement will follow the February 5th performance at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

Will the ‘Poker Face’ performer play a card similar to Katy Perry, Beyonce, Madonna, and more from the past?
