‘Pick Your Poison’ producer Diplo has opened up on the R&B classic ‘Climax‘, the jam he produced for ‘Dive’ star Usher.

However, while enlisting the chart topper to work on his latest album ‘Looking For Myself’ may have seemed like an easy to decision to make considering his credentials, Diplo has revealed that he feels Usher took a risk when joining him in the studio.

Bruno Mars‘ career has been smoking as of late, as such a turn on the cover of iconic Rolling Stone was almost inevitable.

The Soul-Pop crooner styles and profiles on the front of the mag, continuing along the promo trail for his sophomore set ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’.

Released last  December, the LP has racked up success aplenty. And while its means of doing so have been questioned by some, the numbers don’t lie. From its lack of variation (see Sex Anthems 101) and commercial decline, the slow but steady sales scored by the likes of Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Frank Ocean, Miguel and Keyshia Cole no doubt served as ray of lights in what truly has been a dark era.

Much like our ‘Retro Rewind’ and ‘From the Vault’ segments, readers of That Grape Juice know what avid music lovers we are – especially of hits past.  So in a quest to re-spin the gems and jams of yesterday we introduced a new retrospective segment – ‘TGJ Replay’.
