As ‘Put It Down’ diva Brandy is working her way back up charts, anticipation mounts steadily for the release of her forthcoming project ‘Two Eleven’.  But while the singer works her way back into the spotlight, recent months have seen her play co-star in a massive promo push for the Monica-assisted single ‘It All Belongs To Me’.

With Mo’s album recently hitting shelves and Brandy’s soon to follow, rumors (flamed by the two) swirled that a joint tour would be in the works.  Well…that was then.

Speaking quite candidly with our friends at BarkBite, B-Rocka weighs in on the prospect of the tour possibilities as well as lending album updates with an all star team of producers (Timbaland, Frank Ocean, Bangladesh, Sean Garrett, and more).

Needless to say, B-Rocka is NOT playing!  This is a must read:

Whether you’ve heard her music or not, it’s safe to say there’s no escaping Adele-mania.

Fueled by her sophomore LP ‘21‘ and heightened by the momentum of its own sales, the project has turned the star into one of the highest selling acts in more time, literally selling more copies per week than many of her chart rivals could shift in a year.

However, with this success has come an undying criticism related to Adele’s look- more specifically, her race.

Like Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone before her, Adkins’ success-albeit warranted- has led many to ask the uncomfortable question:

But what if she was black, would she be as successful?

This week, that question was asked and answered by ‘The Magnetic Fields’ front man Stephen Merritt.

Madonna‘s status as a Pop royal wasn’t acheived by means of talent. Rather, it was her uncanny ability to court controversy which has earned her the (arguable) title of Queen of Pop.

Alas, it’s little surprise that the 53 year old is digging into her trusty bag of tricks for her forthcoming ‘MDNA World Tour’.

Newly released pics show the ‘Give Me All Your Luvin” singer has employed crucifixes, ghouls and a whole lot more for the trek, which industry insiders predict could generate $500 Million when said and done.

We say, do whatever it takes to sell them tickets. For, the all-round lack of promo for the ‘MDNA’ LP served as an emphatic declaration that ol’ Maggie is bored of selling progressively less and is instead vesting her energy into the lucrative touring market. The smartest of moves for an act in her predicament.

The ‘MDNA World Tour’ kicks off in Tel Aviv next Thursday (May 31st).
