Chance the Rapper‘s sophomore studio effort (the August 15-released ‘Star Line‘) may have started strong with its #22 opening on the Billboard 200, but the star-studded project vanished from the chart just a week later.

In a bid to turn the tide on the set’s success narrative, Chance (born Chancelor Bennett) recruited fellow Chicagoan Hip-Hop hitmakers Do or Die and Twista to toast to the Windy City’s cultural impact on the genre by remixing the album’s fan-favorite track ‘Ride.’

“Ride, just enjoy the ride, just enjoy the ride / Trust, you gon’ be alright, we gon’ be alright / But if they wanna fight, it’s gon’ be a fight / Just get your brothers right, and they gon’ ride, ride,” he raps over DexLvL production.

Buoyed by a prominent sample of One Way’s 1980’s classic ‘Don’t Stop (Ever Loving Me),’ hop inside to hear the ‘Ride’ revamp in full.
