Willow fans going crazy for the singer’s latest album, ‘empathogen,’ see her do a little of the same in the music video for the project’s new single ‘Run.’

The follow-up to ‘Big Feelings’ and ‘Symptom of Life,’ the visual for ‘Run’ – another favorite from the critically acclaimed LP – sees the 23-year-old wage war against the imprisonment of the intrusive thoughts in her head.

“I can’t get out / No, no, I can’t get out / No, I can’t get out / This pattern, it’s maddening / Making a tragedy happen that’s not even real,” she wails on the Chris Greatti-produced track.

Toplined by Grantham Coleman and Academy Award-winning actor Forest Whitaker, the suspenseful thriller comes as the TV adaptation of author and law professor Stephen L. Carter’s best-selling novel of the same name.

Chris Stapleton and Dua Lipa dropped jaws when they tackled the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards (the ACMs) on Thursday (May 16) with a surprise duet performance of his song ‘Think I’m in Love with You.’

Originally found aboard Stapleton’s 2023 album ‘Higher‘ as a solo deal, the unlikely duo revamped the cut after Lipa reached out to him about collaborating.

“He’s a master of his craft, and I’ve just been a fan of his for so long, and I’ve had the opportunity to just sit down and brainstorm ideas on how we can reimagine the song…and bring something really special and unique,” she said ahead of the ACM live rendition.

Response to the showing was so overwhelming Chris and Dua delivered a mastered version of the performance to major streaming platforms on Monday (May 20).

The follow-up to the April-released ‘Knocka,’ ‘Weird’ comes as the second sample of new music set to line the July 3-due third installment of the ‘Just Re’d Up’ mixtape series.

“I don’t wanna hear it, not even a snippet / You ain’t Piru, stop talkin’ Piru business,” he raps over the Lil Rich and Dez Wright-produced beat. “Weird-a** n—a, you n—s lame / When it’s smoke, don’t ever mention my name / You gon’ have me jeopardizing my fame / Jeopardizing the gang / Jeopardizing where you hang, n—a.”

Titled ‘Marlon Wayans: Good Grief,’ the forthcoming special – taped live at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem – sees the youngest of the Wayans clan get vulnerable in ways like never before as he reflects on recently losing both of his parents.

Produced by Marlon and Rick Alvarez’s Ugly Baby Productions and Amazon MGM Studios, ‘Grief’ is set to land on Prime on June 4.
