The spread comes as the star gears up for the release of her new song ‘Start Now’ on May 21. As reported, the Oak Felder produced track serves as the anthem of Disney‘s Ultimate Princess Celebration – apt given Brandy’s now-iconic performance as Cinderella alongside Whitney Houston in the 1997 Rodgers and Hammerstein TV movie.

She’s also filming as one of the leads in ABC music drama pilot ‘Queens,’ alongside Eve and Naturi Naughton.

Needless to say, just times for the GRAMMY winner.

Spice is back and this time she’s brought two familiar faces with her – Sean Paul and Shaggy!

The trio has unleashed the video for their new single ‘Go Down Deh’ and it’s a scorcher.

A whine-inducing anthem, the release is lifted from the Queen of Dancehall’s forthcoming album ‘TEN’ – which is executive produced by Shaggy too.

With its commanding bassline and infectious hook, ‘Go Down Deh’ looks poised to become Spice’s next big hit.

JoJo has marked the first anniversary of her fourth album ‘Good To Know’ in trademark form – by way of performance.

Backed by a full band and luminous lighting spectacle, the songbird took vocal flight as she hatched rousing live renditions of tracks such as ‘Comeback,’ ‘Man,’ and ‘Don’t Talk Me Down.’

The 30-year-old had been set to embark on a world tour in support of the LP, but like many artists had to put a pause on plans due to the global health crisis.

Still, fans needn’t fret because they can now press play on a virtual concert showcasing the magic the star is renowned for.

After dominating charts in 2020 with his viral hit ‘Without You,’ rapper The Kid Laroi has now joined forces with Miley Cyrus for a remix of the popular song.

Alongside the release of the new version, the pair shared the latest set of visuals for the song. In them, both are seen dancing on a truck, cuddling under colorful lights, and hanging with a giant mushroom.

‘Without You’ appeared on Laroi’s ‘Savage Love’ album and peaked at #30 in the United States and #2 in the United Kingdom.

The pair is set to perform the song on ‘Saturday Night Live.’

Today brings with it the 20th anniversary of Destiny’s Child‘s blockbuster third studio album ‘Survivor.’

And its title couldn’t be any more apt.

Arriving on May 1 2001, the LP celebrated triumph after the rocky run that preceded it.

The group’s seemingly unstoppable trajectory encountered quite the hurdle when two of its founding members abruptly departed and were replaced at the height of the ensemble’s sophomore cycle with ‘The Writings On The Wall.’

And the musical chairs didn’t stop there because one of said replacements packed her luggage never to return shortly after.

For many, it looked like the end could be nigh for the rising stars amid undeniable chaos.

As history would have it, the drama formed the foundation for what would be the cementing of one of the greatest groups of all time.

‘Survivor,’ which went on to sell 12 million copies worldwide, cannonballed the collective of Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams to seismic heights. It also added a number of classics to their repertoire and the music history books more broadly.
